[Media Launch] The Ladies Cue

Is about time to RESET, REFOCUS and RESTART!

I left Scoot at the beginning of this year and have been resting at home since then... Is about time now to work on new plans and tasks but the thought of getting back into the workforce after a long break stresses me much. I have been seeking friends and turning to them for advice and directions. I was then reminded of a community I was introduced to upon knowing Melissa; The Ladies Cue.

The Ladies Cue is a lifestyle community for ladies by ladies. It is an online and offline platform created to support ladies through the different stages of life, in particular, working mothers or ladies who shoulder multiple responsibilities and commitments. The Ladies Cue prompts the ladies to support and empower each other.

Through Melissa, the COO of The Ladies Cue, I had the pleasure to attend The Ladies Cue's official media launch after its rebrand. The official media launch was held at Chef Avenue, Tai Seng late last year with an interesting tour of Chef Avenue, an uplifting dialogue session on 'Know Your Worth' while enjoying a mini 3-course meal prepared by Made in Orient as well as a Lucky Draw!

Lady luck came to me that day, rewarding me with X2 sessions of Body Sculptor Treatment by Raffles Lady with Beauty Mums & Babies. It was definitely the easiest and most relaxing slimming session I have ever come across. So, thank you, The Ladies Cue!!

Once again, I appreciate Melissa for the invitation and I am happy to see Joey at the launch too!!

[Media Launch] Spoonful Meals

The virtual cafeteria is possibly the safest and the most convenient option for corporate lunch at work now! Check out SPOONFUL MEALS @spoonful.meals now and start planning your orders!!

Spoonful Meals, now the largest cloud kitchen operator and delivery-only brand creator in Hong Kong, has launched its brands in Singapore. With over 1,000,000 meals delivered to date, Spoonful Meals aims to provide consumers in Singapore with more choice, more convenience and more delicious food. The thriving delivery market is joined by NOSH, GA, and Sesami. (The official launch is said to be in upcoming May 2020.)

All meals are prepared and cooked in a cloud kitchen centralised to the delivery area, ensuring that the food delivered stays fresh and timely. With the help from their delivery partner Foodpanda's extensive network, the operator promises to deliver each order within 20 minutes.

When I was at the launch, I witnessed the excitement from Max von Poelnitz, the founder of NOSH and Spoonful, about bringing his business into Singapore's market. It was a short and sweet introduction he made.

With NOSH, GA, and Sesami offering different types of cuisine, consumers are treated to a variety of food options to satisfy their immediate cravings.

I had the privilege to try some of their offerings and they are really delicious! ( Pictures of food below are catered for media launch day and differ from its menu, kindly check their menu for exact items for your orders. )

NOSH

NOSH offers healthy California cuisine with its selection of Burrito bowls, salads crudites and vegetarian options. Lean meats, fresh vegetables and foods low in saturated fats are the order of the day, great as a light lunch or an afternoon snack. Each meal will boast a low-calorie count of between 400 to 600 per serving and have been carefully curated with a high-protein with low-fat content; ideal for weight watchers and the health-conscious.

GA

GA roughly translated to 'home-cooked', offers a selection of heart-warming Chinese favourites, reminiscent of Cantonese style comfort food. Apart from serving dishes close to the taste of home, the brand will also launch the Impossible meat in some of its dishes, made from plants as a healthier alternative. GA was designed by a team of Hong Kong-based chefs with a focus on comfort food and affordability.

Sesami

Sesami features Japanese cuisine which is not only nutritionally balanced but also beautifully packed in Bento boxes.

In Singapore, Spoonful Meals currently retails via the Foodpanda delivery platform for direct consumer business and corporate orders can be made via the Spoonful app.

[Food Tasting] Yue Long Men Hotpot 悦龍門火锅

Went for a hotpot buffet session at Yue Long Men Hotpot 悦龍門火锅 with Jessie invited by our dear friend, Alethea. The restaurant is convieniently located at one of the busiest street in Chinatown, just above and next to Chinatown MRT station Exit A. A place that is easy to locate by public transportation is always a plus point for me as i do not drive, neither do i have a car.

Fully air-conditioned seating areas and prices are listed on the door front. A 100 minutes Hotpot buffet style for all diners.

Even though it is not a huge restaurant, they have really comfortable seatings with individual pots and above all, the whole restaurant is very clean and tidy.

I also love how the hotpot heating controls are designed to be user-friendly and convieniently located at each sides, just in front of each diner. In this way, no one need to stretch their hands across tables everytime they want to adjust the temperature or having a dirty, oily control panel after one round of eating if it is placed on the table top.

According to the menu, there are currently a total of 9 Soup Base to choose from, including Tomato Broth, Soya Milk Broth, Tom Yum Broth and Mala Broth. Buffet counter with over 70 varieties of Vegetables, Meatballs, Mushrooms and even Seafood. No additional cost for condiments. FREE FLOW Freshly Sliced Meat of Beef, Pork, Lamb and Pork Belly! This buffet even offers FREE FLOW of Xiao Long Bao and Dumplings!! There is also free flow of Appetizer, Drinks, Deserts, Fruits and Ice-cream. Everything is free flow and unlimited!! Where else can we get such a good deal right?!

I ordered the Mushroom Broth which tasted quite light at first while Jessie and some others ordered the Tomato Broth. The Tomato Broth is one of the popular choice here and i understand why after i tried it from Jessie's as the texture and taste is really good even before adding any ingredients in.

The clean and tidy buffet counter which consists of everything we love!!

We had fun at the Ice-cream counter, where diners can choose to have them in a cup or cone, or both. Toppings are also available too!

Address: 75 Pagoda Street Chinatown MRT Exit A
Opening hours: 11.30am to 11pm
Tel: 69090611

Thank you Jessie for yet another wonderful night!! :)

Decided to wear dress that day, and i am loving how the look of this dress given by Ann. Xie Xie An Jie!! :)
