All meals are prepared and cooked in a cloud kitchen centralised to the delivery area, ensuring that the food delivered stays fresh and timely. With the help from their delivery partner Foodpanda's extensive network, the operator promises to deliver each order within 20 minutes.

When I was at the launch, I witnessed the excitement from Max von Poelnitz, the founder of NOSH and Spoonful, about bringing his business into Singapore's market. It was a short and sweet introduction he made.

With NOSH, GA, and Sesami offering different types of cuisine, consumers are treated to a variety of food options to satisfy their immediate cravings.

I had the privilege to try some of their offerings and they are really delicious! ( Pictures of food below are catered for media launch day and differ from its menu, kindly check their menu for exact items for your orders. )

NOSH

NOSH offers healthy California cuisine with its selection of Burrito bowls, salads crudites and vegetarian options. Lean meats, fresh vegetables and foods low in saturated fats are the order of the day, great as a light lunch or an afternoon snack. Each meal will boast a low-calorie count of between 400 to 600 per serving and have been carefully curated with a high-protein with low-fat content; ideal for weight watchers and the health-conscious.

GA

GA roughly translated to 'home-cooked', offers a selection of heart-warming Chinese favourites, reminiscent of Cantonese style comfort food. Apart from serving dishes close to the taste of home, the brand will also launch the Impossible meat in some of its dishes, made from plants as a healthier alternative. GA was designed by a team of Hong Kong-based chefs with a focus on comfort food and affordability.

Sesami

Sesami features Japanese cuisine which is not only nutritionally balanced but also beautifully packed in Bento boxes.

In Singapore, Spoonful Meals currently retails via the Foodpanda delivery platform for direct consumer business and corporate orders can be made via the Spoonful app.

[Food Tasting] Good Bites At Bishan Sports Hall

Last week, I had a wonderful catch-up session with my girlfriends over a tasting at Good Bites. Thank you Dawn for organising the session and Tracy for gathering us all.

Good Bites is the latest F&B brand under Citrus By The Pool, a café in Bishan Sports Centre offering healthy bowls. Located in the central part of Singapore but away from the busy streets make it a great place to relax in with friends and loved ones. A family-friendly place with baby chair available. The café seats up to 60 pax and is available for private events that can accommodate up to 80 pax.

We visited the café in the evening and as the Sun goes down, the outdoor fairy lights make the external look exceptionally beautiful and dreamy.

Good Bites offers a variety of Western Asian fusion food and beverages with an interesting menu.

We started off by ordering some refreshing coolers.
Tracy had the Iced Lychee Tea while Jessie had the Iced Minty Green Tea with Honey.

Shu Qing and I went for their 600ml thick and creamy Mighty Milkshakes instead. Among the 6 choices in the menu with prices starting from S$8.90, Shu Qing had the Cookie Crush while I had the Strawberry Gem. I love how they topped it with old-school favourite gem biscuits.

HEALTHY BOWLS

With the belief that food can be made healthy and delicious, the café focuses on homemade recipes and preparation methods that retain and maximise the taste and nutritional value of the food. Customers can create healthy bowl based on their nutrition goals and preferences. With 3 portion sizes to choose from - Nom Nom, Munch or Chomp, they can build a bowl from the selection of bases, proteins, supplements, toppings and dressings.

For greater taste and value, one can dig into Good Bites’ Signature Bowls.

Baked Smoked Salmon Bowl (Smoked Salmon, soba noodles, cherry tomatoes, broccoli, cucumber, onsen egg, white sesame seeds) has a great mix of all the goodness in one bowl.

Herb & Citrus Roasted Chicken Bowl (Herb & Citrus Roasted Chicken, brown rice, grilled cherry tomatoes, sautéed mushrooms, broccoli, hard-boiled egg and multi-grain tortilla chips) is delicious and appetising.

Pineapple Prawn Salsa Bowl (Pineapple Salsa Prawns, romaine lettuce, avocado, cherry tomatoes, sautéed mushrooms, croutons, lemon wedge) is refreshing but I personally find the onions in it was a tad too strong for my liking.

There are three kinds of dressing; namely Tartar sauce, Sesame Soy sauce, and Paprika Yoghurt dressing.

Apart from healthy bowls, they also serve other dishes such as Pasta and Burgers. Dawn told us that their Laksa Pasta is currently one of their customers' favourite dish. We tried and we love it too! It is a dry Laksa linguine with Shrimps, hard-boiled egg, fish cakes, and crunchy Taupok cubes. Great taste and texture, not too dry nor too spicy. Dry Laksa Pasta is not easy to find in Singapore and I am glad that they have it here.

Tom Yum Seafood Pasta is one of the chef's recommendations on the menu, suitable for people who like Seafood and spicy food. The taste is addictive yet very spicy.

One very interesting dish here is the Fried Chicken & Waffle with Butter and Maple Syrup. The fried chicken chunks were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The fried chicken chunks also marries well with the Maple Syrup and Waffles.

Egg-ploding Burger looks simple but is actually very delicious too. Tender Fried Chicken thigh with Egg Nachos Mayo sauce in between two soft buns. Served with Cajun fries.

The night ended well with desserts. We had the Homemade Apple Crumble and the Molten Chocolate Lava Cake, each comes with a scoop of ice-cream.

Thank you Dawn for the below pictures!! :)
