[Beauty Review] d'skin Facial Treatment (H.A.S treatment)

I was given the opportunity to went back to my favourite beauty treatment centre for a good and comforting facial, just before I flew off to my Taiwan trip! I would like to highlight here that d'skin's skincare products are carefully crafted and of premium quality, researched and formulated in Japan, providing its users with the maximum efficacy and optimum results. d’skin is no doubt one of the leading skin treatment centres in Singapore!

I always love the modern and clean setting of d'skin outlets. Neutral, Earth tones of white, beige and grey that is always welcoming and comforting.

d'skin's fourth outlet in Singapore is located at The Seletar Mall where its revolutionary whitening range, MiraWhite, was launched in early November this year. Interested readers can check back my earlier post with information on MiraWhite product range and treatments (http://meryl-lpy.blogspot.sg/2015/11/media-invite-dskins-new-mira-skincare.html).

So I took the LRT and alighted at Fernvale with the help of the nice staff from d'skin in directing me as I wasn't sure the direction at first.

As part of their standard procedure just before any treatment is done, I had my face analysed through their amazing technology - Soft Plus when I arrived. Soft Plus clearly shows the different level of my skin, and if my skin is within the ideal range. My concern areas are insufficient Hydration and a little high in skin pH balance. The best part after the assessment is that a report in the form of a receipt will be printed out, containing the full skin analysis report as well as specially customised skincare recommendation for individual skin! For myself, it suggests I use a delicate cleanser; a delicate exfoliator once a week, stimulate skin with a non-alcoholic toner, use a moisturising cream during the day and a corrective cream to reduce the loss of lipid from the skin, and a re-vitalising serum at least once a day. =)

"The skin is not sufficiently nourished and is dry and dehydrated. Pores are not dilated. Choose a delicate cleanser, for normal or dry skin (without aggressive cleansing agents, enriched with soothing spa-water). Once a week use a delicate exfoliator which contains natural ingredients (rose, orange, sweet-almond) which re-generate the skin and soften it at the same time. Stimulate the skin with a non-alcoholic toner containing rich plant extracts acting as an emollient and moisturising (Chamomile and Aloe Vera, etc...). During the day use a moisturising cream containing the main ingredients of the natural hydrating factor (amino-acids, PCA, urea). Always choose a formula for combination skin. During the night, use a corrective cream to reduce the loss of lipid from the skin, reduce collagen destruction and damage free radicals. Particularly for mature skin, at least once a day use a re-vitalising serum enriched with re-generating, anti-age properties hyaluronic acid, vitamins, and oligo-elements."

I was then recommended to do the H.A.S treatment (Hyaluronic Acid) due to my dehydrated skin.

Hyaluronic Acid holds over a thousand times of its weight in water, which will then provides maximum hydration for the skin and therefore, helps to replenish and protect the constant loss of water due to environmental factors. In this pampering treatment, specific wavelengths are delivered to the skin to stimulate and activate serum absorption processes deep within the skin layers - an innovative method to stimulate the biological functions in a completely non-invasive and painless way: the bio-stimulation. Noticeable effects on the reduction of fine lines, wrinkles dropping skin and acne scars and dislocations by generating new skin cells will be observed after treatment.

The benefits are that it retards the aging process of the skin and smoothes out wrinkles and other fine lines on the skin, particularly on the forehead and lower eyelids.

I love the thoughtfulness from d'skin to have an extra cushion on the bed for leg rest!

During the treatment, I had my skin cleansed, scrubbed (exfoliate), acnes & white/black-heads extraction done, (I skipped the eyebrows trimming which is inclusive), hydrating facial masque put on, moisturiser, toner and sunscreen followed after. I was also given comforting massage in between on my arms, chest, neck, head and face! LOVE IT!!

Facial masque is always the best part! My face and even my eyes covered, allowing me to just close my eyes and relax for a good 20 mins or so in this cooling hydrating facial masque! Oh, it has a nice light fragrance too!

Warm tea was served to me after the whole session. I am really very thankful to receive such lovely pampering treatment from d'skin, giving me a dewy skin in December! :)

[Media Invite] Revamped Gallery At Trick Eye Museum Singapore!

Made a visit to Trick Eye Museum Singapore with my friends the other night to check out its revamped gallery with New Themed Zones and Interactive 4-D concept! This is the first revamp conducted by the Korean-based gallery for its Singapore branch located at Resorts World Sentosa.

All works in Trick Eye museum create illusions, allowing visitors to perceive a three-dimensional object or scene. There is a good collection of 2D & 3D art and sculptures, specially designed for photo opportunities. Now, it is bringing even greater visitors' experience with its brand new art exhibits and themed zones, as well as never-before 4D elements!

It was my second time visit and I am still feeling pretty excited over all the exhibits when i arrived! Another night of fun experience trying to be creative with my dear friends! Such wonderful moments were made possible all thanks to the angels from Trick Eye Museum Singapore that bring so much joy and leaving good memories not just to us but also, to all its visitors!! =)

"How do i look when i dance? :) "

There are six new themed zones; ‘Mystery’, ‘Excitement’, ‘Supernatural’, ‘Fairytale’, ‘Fantasy’ and ‘Trick World’, which aims to awaken the five senses of the human body by evoking six different emotions stimulated by the zones. Also, more than half of the museum is updated with new exhibits!

If you are making a trip there, do look out for new sculptures at the museum which blend well with new illusion paintings to form picture-perfect settings. All new art exhibits are specially designed by Trick Eye Museum’s in-house team of designers from Korea and are painted by experienced Korean artists!

Among all exhibit, this large Skeleton Garden in Ghost Zone is my favourite! All in all, we had a great bonding time together! =)

Trick Eye Museum Singapore in its second year of operation now, and has already received tremendous support and achievements in the past year, having been featured in several travel shows, drama and variety show productions across the region. Trick Eye Museum was barely 6 months old in Singapore when the tourist attraction became one of the top 10 most visited and checked-in local attractions alongside established giants such as Universal Studios Singapore.

An exciting year it has been for Trick Eye Museum, supporters can look forward to its future promotions and activities following Trick Eye Museum Singapore’s renewal towards the end of the year.
