[Food Tasting] Old Boys Gallery Tapas Bar & Restaurant (OBG)

Formerly an Art Gallery, Old Boys Gallery Tapas Bar & Restaurant located along Kampong Bahru Road is one place not to be missed. Still retaining the colourful paintings on the walls, the restaurant also added in some other quirky wall art, furnitures and lovely love-lock area to enhance the setting. Overall, a casual and fun place to chill at with a wide variety of beer to choose from.

The MENU

Manster Beef Burger S$17.90 (with Cheese, Bacon, Caramelised Onions, and Egg).
The serving size isn't that monstrous but is sure enough to fill one's stomach. We enjoyed the goodness and tenderness of the beef (would love it if its bigger and juicier). =)

Belly Good Burger S$18.90 (with homemade Onion Rings, Egg, Pineapple, Cheese and Bacon).
Slow gazed pork belly in Japanese style sauce. Sweet and tender.

Bah Kwa Risotto
A uniquely Singapore's style creation of using Bah Kwa with traditional Italian staple. Both source blends well together and very comforting to have while its still warm.

Spam Chips (S$9)
Crispy on every bite of the Spam Chip but the taste itself wasn't very much to my liking even though i love the taste of Luncheon Meat. Thank goodness for the Wasabi Mayo that comes with it! Their Wasabi Mayo is very very addictive!!

Potato Head S$7.90
(Tasty, chunky Sweet potato fries with curry mustard dip).

Chili Beef Fries S$13.90
(Chili beef with kidney beans, fries topped with nacho cheese, mayonnaise and Parmesan cheese). This is very delicious with generous amount of different sauces. My personal favourite among the three fries we tried!

Snack Platter – ‘Triplets’ at S$21. (Choice of three different snacks)

Vongole Bianco served with crispy toast. The soup base is a lot more spicy than we expected but it will get you going for more sip if you love spicy food.

Crab Cake with lime leaf and onion, made in-house offers a sassy flavor. S$12.

OBG Wings in marmite sauce, and still able to retain all its crispiness and crunchiness.
Really savoury!

Sweet Indulgence

Devil’s Double Chocolate S$9.
Chocolate Lava Cake and Chocolate Ice-cream. Clean and pleasant presentation. Both Chocolates tasted good.

Earl Grey Cake with Lavender Cream S$7.90.
Refreshing and light with the aroma of Lavender.

Coconut Cake with Gula Melaka S$7.90.
This dessert is perfectly made. Love the sweetness but not too overwhelming even till the last bite!

All prices in its Menu are Nett.
Last order at 10pm.

Thank you for the wonderful invitation and i would definitely return and visit this restaurant again! =)
