In March, i got invited to another event about Time. It was on beauty - the power of skin regeneration by luxury brand The History of Whoo from South Korea introduced in 2003. Thank you Her World Beauty Club for the extended invitation!! =)
The event featured the brand's Bichup Line of regenerative range!
Refreshments were served.
"The concept and philosophy of The History of Whoo: Reinterpret the beauty secrets of the Korean and Chinese royal courts with oriental medicinal methodologies and modern science, to create holistic skincare that fixes problem by targeting the core issues - enabling skin cells to self-heal and self-regenerate."
Bichup Ja Saeng Essence won the best beauty buys 2016 award by Women's Weekly. This serum contains Cho Jahabidan, a lab-produced plant placenta derivative that helps skin identify its weaknesses and encourages cells to start self healing. It also supplies skin with antibodies and nutrients for repair!
I was given a set home to try which includes;
1. Bichup Soon Hwan Essence (a serum that provides essential nutrients to skin and aids nutrient absorption from subsequent skincare),
2. Bichup Ja Saeng Essence, and
3. Bichup Ja Yoon cream (a multi-tasking moisturiser that gives ageing skin cells an energy boost, improves skin cell turnover, reduces free radical damage, and ups cell regeneration and skin's internal glow).
I'm in love with the products as soon as i started using them! The formula smells pleasant too! =)
Lunch was then settled with Jon at Brunches Cafe (http://brunches.sg/), as suggested by him. Nice ambience and comfort food there! =)
Creamy Carbonara with Bacon (S$14.50)..
Brunches Fiery Aglio Olio with Shrimp (S$16.50)..
