I had a great time at The Music Run 2016 by AIA held at Sentosa Palawan Green last Saturday, along with over 10,000 other participants, aka Music Runners!
Held in Singapore for the second year, The Music Run is back by popular demand with tickets sold out one week earlier than expected. It is one of the fastest-growing fun runs worldwide and is slated to hit 40 cities in 18 countries this year and experienced by over 350,000 Music Runners. Offering a unique total music immersion experience, the concept has been making waves in Asia, including a sold out event in Kuala Lumpur last year.

YQ helped me out with sticking the temporary tattoo.. ^^
As soon as the race starts, Music Runners from as young as 3 months old to over 83 years old grooved to the rousing beats of top-voted songs like “Demons” by Imagine Dragons and “How Deep Is Your Love” by Calvin Harris & Disciples in the AIA Rock Zone and W Dance Zone respectively, voted via a bespoke online music app developed in partnership with Spotify.
Together with the rest of the Music Runners, we pass through five 1km Music Zones and interactive activities such as photo moments with Harley Davidson bikers in the AIA Rock Zone; giant candy pops and bubble machines at the Pop Zone; pop star doppelgangers and lookalikes in Old School Zone; giant Graffiti wall in at the AIA Hip Hop Zone; to killer selfie and wefie moments in the W Dance Zone, with over 120 concert quality speakers pumping 150,000 watts of music the entire way.
I am glad to have them all with me for this fun run. It's my first 5km fun run by the way!
Various fun facts were also displayed!
Finished!
Plenish Sports Water tasted not bad!
My first ever public fun run medal!! Thank you The Music Run and HP for this!!!
After run Party
We joined in the fun at the Music Festival after the run with rising Australian DJ Sam Withers and hot MC Sonia keeping the party mood high (wasn't in time to catch The Sam Willows though).
Lights up for Purple Rain by Prince.
Till the next Music Run..
