LG Electronics (LG) Singapore is proud to launch LG’s premium home beauty brand, LG Pra.L. The new lineup offers four home beauty devices: Dual Cleanser, Galvanic Ion Booster, Total Lift Up Care, and Derma LED Mask – to cleanse, nourish, lift and firm the skin respectively.

LG Pra.L devices have already been recognized in the 2018 Korea Brand Hall of Fame presented by the Institute for Industrial Policy Studies and Brand Design Association of Korea. Additionally, the four LG Pra.L devices come with the convenience of a silicone handle for better grip, voice assistance to give users verbal guidance to achieve optimal results, USB type-C plugs for easy charging and an extra-long battery life for maximum travel portability.

Met beautiful MC Simone Heng at the launch. She's a goddess!

“LG has always been a company that encourages innovation in our technologies, and LG Pra.L is a testament to that,” says Mr Shawn Han, Managing Director of LG Electronics Singapore. “With an increasing interest towards beauty tech in Asia, we applied years of technological expertise to create Pra.L for this market. As Singapore is also the first in Southeast Asia to launch the brand, we look forward to consumers here enjoying Pra.L for an enhanced skincare experience.”

Ms Alicia takes over the mic and shared that having a beauty device is just like having a toothbrush and that a good beauty device is like having a good toothbrush.

Dual Cleanser : Deep Cleansing for Soft, Glowing Skin (R.P at S$449)

The Dual Cleanser offers two levels of cleansing for different needs: Level 1 for daily and light cleanse (70 seconds), and Level 2 for when users require a more thorough clean (120 seconds). Using LG’s Dual Motion technology combines a cleansing motion with deeper micro vibrations, and even takes care of hard-to-reach, troublesome areas and effortlessly reduces pore size (57%), dead skin cells (27.7%) and blackheads (46.9%).

The device is also waterproof with an IPX7 rating, which makes it shower- and running water-friendly. Unique to the Dual Cleanser, it comes with a cradle that has an in-built UV light to sanitize the brush when not in use, enhancing product life and ease-of-use.

Frequent travelers can also easily pack the Dual Cleanser thanks to its compact design and long battery life, which lasts for up to a month on a single charge.

The Pra.L Dual Cleanser comes with two brush options: a silicone brush for gentle daily cleansing, and a fine fibre brush for deeper cleansing. The device automatically detects which brush is attached and changes the mode accordingly.

Galvanic Ion Booster: Enhancing Absorption of Skincare Ingredients (R.P at S$529)

Effectively remove dead skin cells for better skincare product absorption with the LG Pra.L Galvanic Ion Booster. It uses Iontophoresis (a method that utilizes electrical current to allow the nutrients in skin products to penetrate deeper into the skin’s surface), ultrasonic waves and thermal therapy to cleanse the skin and boost absorption of skincare products. Its triangular-head design, made from medical implant-grade material has superior corrosion resistance and helps to smoothly glide over the contours of the face. Its convenient wireless design also makes it easily portable, with an extra-long battery life that lasts up to two weeks on a single charge

Cleansing Mode is designed specifically for deep pore cleansing, applying thermal therapy to temporarily loosen pores and draw out impurities such as residual makeup and sebaceous waste from deep beneath the skin’s surface. The Boost Mode uses ultrasonic waves to open pores further and deliver active ingredients of skincare products via Iontophoresis. A gentle heat massage follows to relieve facial tension. It is recommended to start with the Cleansing Mode first in order to maximize the benefits of Boost Mode.

Users can apply each mode for nine minutes a day for a period of two weeks to achieve vibrant skin. 100% of test participants reported an improvement in pore size (cheek) and inner skin moisture (cheek) by 96% after using the Galvanic Ion Booster for 2 weeks, twice per week.

Total Lift Up Care: Deep Tissue Tightening and Lifting with Red LED Light (R.P at S$699)

A woman’s collagen production starts to decline at about age 25, and decreases even further after 40. The Total Lift Up Care device helps to achieve plump, youthful skin through its tightening and lifting functions.

The device offers two separate functions: Tightening Mode, which uses high-frequency thermal therapy and red LED light to penetrate the deep layers of skin and trigger collagen production, while the Lifting Mode employs microcurrents which stimulates skin tissue and muscles for a tightening and lifting effect. The head of the device is also made from the same medical implant-grade material as the Galvanic Ion Booster for greater durability.

After using the Total Lift Up Care twice a week for 8 weeks, users will be able to see improvements in skin elasticity and achieve a slimmer face. Research shows that 92% of test participants saw improvements in lifting of double chin and 88% saw improvements in skin density around the eyes. The Total Lift Up Care device can last for up to two weeks on a single charge.

Derma LED Mask: Only Nine Minutes a Day for Brighter, More Radiant Skin (R.P at S$1,349)

Return youth and elasticity back to the skin tissue with the LG Pra.L Derma LED Mask. Using 160 LEDs (80 red and 80 infrared) of long- and short-wave light to penetrate the skin at different depths, it rejuvenates skin layers to encourage cell regeneration for firm, radiant skin. Only nine minutes a day over four weeks is needed to see results. Test participants saw an improvement in skin tone by 100% and inner skin density by 92% after using for six weeks, twice a week.

The Derma LED Mask is safe and effective to use, and is the only Korean-made product of its kind to be given an “FDA cleared” rating by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Based on extensive research and testing, the mask produces the optimum amount of light throughout the effective usage time of nine minutes, thus creating efficient and positive results while ensuring safety of use.

The Derma LED Mask also protects the eyes with an eye-shield design made from safe silicone for comfort, minimizing the glare from the LED lights. An additional safety feature includes a Sensing Detector, where the mask operates only when correctly positioned on the face.

The user-friendly mask also has a transparent visor that allows the user to see through whilst wearing it, so users can multi-task at home for efficiency while enjoying their treatment. Like all other Pra.L products, the Derma LED Mask also offers a long battery life, lasting up to seven days on a single charge.

[Media Invite] Breathe Better. Live Better. with AirFree Air Purifiers

Airfree Air Purifiers from Portugal made its offical launch in Singapore at The Scotts Tower (TST) weeks ago, in October, bringing this intelligent technology to citizens living in Singapore.

Airfree air purifiers releases no ozone or ions and can effectively destroy up to 99% of airborne allergens, ozone, bacteria, viruses, mildew, mould, dust mite, pollen and tobacco odours, reducing the amount of microorganisms and harmful substances in the air. As such, increasing the quality of life of more sensitive people such as elderly, mothers-to-be, children and people who suffer from allergies at home.
Airfree air purifiers dramatically reduce air pollution by burning the microorganisms. As a result, the contaminated air is drawn into the Airfree® ceramic core and destroyed at high temperatures. This air purification cycle is silent, requires no maintenance and is guaranteed by numerous tests.

The power of filterless Airfree TSS™ ceramic core technology helps eliminates microorganisms at temperatures of close to 200°C when contaminated air enters in by air convection. The purified air is then cooled down before being returned to the environment.

I still remember how i had terrible sleepless nights when i was at a very young age, having much difficulty in breathing normally, all due to child asthma. A study of respiratory syncytial virus (the main cause of wheezing in children less than 2 years old) showed that when the virus is exposed to 65°C for 45 minutes, its infection capacity is decreased, and the conformational proteins are transformed, reducing the activity of substances responsible for inflammation, hypersensitivity and airway damage. The SARS virus (causative agent of Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome) has thermosensitive (heat-sensitive) proteins in its envelope, which can be fully denatured at 55°C, the same temperature at which the SARS virus was proven to be inactivated. Similarly, the proteins that are essential for the transmission of infectious influenza viruses are sensitive to variations in pH and temperatures between 55°C and 70°C. Therefore, AirFree Air Purifiers can effectively prevent these viruses from affecting your child or family members' health, for a better life!

All in all, AirFree Air Purifier;
- has efficiency being tested and approved in real environments at the best institutes around the world
- is internationally patented and environmentally friendly (the only one that also reduces ozone concentrations)
- is silent and requires no maintenance and no filters
- is economical as no part replacement expenses or significant energy costs
- has low energy consumption as it consumes only 48w per hour
- comes with night light and can be part of home decor
- has a 2-years warranty
- releases neither ozone nor ions
- protects everything and everyone - destroying any micro-organism passing through the ceramic sterilizer, regardless of its size or hazard level.
- has a completely natural process which uses no radiation, chemical or toxic products, and do not interfere with temperature or humidity of the environment.

Airfree air purifiers are now available in Singapore, at Popular, Harvey Norman, Hachi Tech online, Audio House, Hwee Seng Online, Qoo10. Time for an early Christmas gift, maybe?! =)
