Treatment such as the BBL™ Broadband Light uses dual-lamp technology with each lamp supplying half of the energy required during the procedure. This treatment harnesses its broad range of light wavelengths allowing doctors to treat a variety of skin conditions. The technology is cleared by the FDA and can be used to treat benign pigmented lesions such as freckles and spots; acne; and vascular conditions like cherry angiomas and rosacea. It can also be used for hair removal and stimulation of collagen production to rejuvenate the skin.
