Everyone went in awe upon seeing the actual Rainbow Log Cake! Its really pretty in every portion and as a whole. This log cake comes with a refreshing sensation of rainbow connections in seven layers of flavoured cream: cream cheese; orange cream; caramel; blueberry; peppermint; chocolate chips; and almond. Take a bite and relish an explosion of flavours. Each layer of sponge cake is light and cottony. Crowning the cake are chocolate ganache and a medley of fresh strawberries and berries. With a wonderful splash of colours, this stunning masterpiece of a dessert is one that very few can resist!
The MEDZS Rainbow Log Cake is a part of Medzs's “Warm Gifts from the Heart” Christmas menu. The menu also include other beautiful and delicious cakes such as the Frosty Crunchy Red Velvet (S$43.90) 1.2kg and the Belgian Dark Callebaut Log Cake (S$43.90) 1.2kg. MEDZS also offers delectable boxes of Eclairs and Pralines at S$15.90 each.
The menu also boasts Christmas must-haves like the Mediterranean Spice Infused Whole Turkey with Foie Gras and Chestnut Stuffing (S$118). The mammoth turkey is roasted to perfection, moist and juicy meat combines with the flavourful foie gras stuffing. Accompanying this mainstay are roasted root vegetables, homemade natural gravy and cranberry sauce. There was a well balance of sauce given. I love the taste of the foie gras stuffing (because i love chestnut in it) that has a wonderful texture for a savoury bite! A plate of wholesome goodness to enjoy with your loved ones!
Another Chef's recommendation dish in the menu is the Oven Roasted Crispy Pork Knuckle with Bratwurst (S$68) 1.5kg served with roasted root vegetables and home-made natural gravy that has a tender and juicy meat resting within the perfectly roasted, fragrant and crispy skin. The Bratwurst served were very tasty too!
The mouth-watering Oven Roasted Pork Roulade with Provencal Herbs and Confit Garlic (S$68) 1.2kg is a spectacular roll-up of the pork belly with bacons and MEDZS' recipe nuts filling at the centre of the meat layers and also served with roasted root vegetables and home-made natural gravy. Irresistibly crispy skin and tasty meat with delicious fillings!
Other tasty offerings include Premium Honey Glazed Ham (S$98) 2kg, Spanish Chorizo Bilbao (S$17.90) and Spanish Serrano Ham (S$9.90). I wish i could try them all! Available also are wines from brands such as Hardy’s Mill, Robert Mondavi, Jacquart Reims and Castello Banfi.

We also picked some of their usual dish in the menu to try and it was all so good, especially their Truffle Fries (S$9.90) that comes with a dipping sauce which is very addictive!

Pork Belly is one of their 'Must-try' dish in their menu,
we can smell the aroma of the meat when the waiter served it out to our table!
Duck Confit is well-cooked and tasty!
We finished it all even though we were already feeling super full by now..
Their smoothies are one of the best too so i ordered their Mango Smoothie, super tasty! =)
